Here we see our GT-3 space heroes during water egress training in the Gulf Of Mexico. They have just completed the days training and the life raft has just put along side the NASA's MV Retriever. Note that John Young has his luck hat on and as Gus is not all that comfortable in the water, he is the only one wearing a life preserver.

A wonderful wide angle view of the launching of the first manned Gemini flight. The Gemini-Titan 3 lifted off Pad 19 at 9:24 a.m. The Gemini 3 spacecraft "Molly Brown" carried astronauts Vrigil I. Grissom, command pilot, and John W. Young, pilot, on three orbits of earth.

This very nice wide angle distance view was taken from the camera site at Launch Complex 16.
